New York Giants coach Brian Daboll admitted the worst kept secret in East Rutherford during a press conference on Tuesday: He will be leading the offense this season.

Daboll has casually hinted during the offseason and training camp that he plans to take over play-calling, and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will be in the booth during games as he has during the preseason.
Meanwhile, all 53 players, including recently signed cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, were working out on the practice field.
Additionally, inside linebacker Micah McFadden took the field for the first time since missing the Giants’ second preseason game in Houston three weeks ago with a groin injury.
The Giants’ offensive linemen will wear red for Sunday’s game against Minnesota, where they will wear their 100th anniversary “Century Red” uniforms. In practice this week, the defensive linemen wore white and non-contact players wore blue.
The top 10 players in franchise history were announced earlier that day, and Daboll, aware of the team’s history, had his eye on the Vikings.
