Complicated relationships like this one have always existed between friends, partners, and exes, and most of them aren’t even in the spotlight among celebrities.
With that in mind, we can assume that even if Lopez and Garner become true friends, they may not see each other as often as they should. Mutual exes can sometimes bring people together, but they can also tear them apart.
Either way, it’s possible that the couple will meet in the future — not just because they’re both mega-famous, but because they care about the same kids. Of course, there’s no telling if Lopez will still attend Affleck’s graduations, but if she does, it’s good that she and Garner have such a close bond.
