The New York Giants open their season on Sunday, September 8 against the Minnesota Vikings, but they will be fielding one of the youngest rosters in the NFL.
The Giants’ average age is just 25.70 years, giving them the fourth-youngest roster in the league behind the Green Bay Packers (25.11), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (25.59) and Philadelphia Eagles (25.62).
The Giants also have the second-youngest group of prospective starters in the entire NFL, with an average age of 25.50 years old, behind only the Packers (25.49 years old).

Of this group, only three are projected to be starters (Nacho, Kreiter and Gano).
The youngest player on the Giants’ roster is rookie wide receiver Malik Neighbors (21), followed by wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (22) and rookie cornerback Andre Phillips (22).
Offensive lineman Evan Neal and linebacker Kayvon Thibodeau, despite having NFL experience, are both only 23 years old. Linebacker Azeez Ojulari is also only 24.
