We have the latest information on the state of Jenelle Evans, her son Jace, and their ever-evolving, seemingly constantly conveyed relationships.
On April 11, the teenage graduate called 911.
“There are broken door fragments everywhere!” Jenelle says in the recording. Retrieved by AshleyAdded by Jace:
“He picked up the cage – a dog cage – and F-Cking threw it… down the stairs.”
It was a very turbulent few months for Jenelle and Jace.
On three separate occasions last year, Jace fled the house.
According to Jace, the reason behind at least one of these loss-disappearing is that Jenelle’s estranged husband, David Eason, physically attacked him in some way.
Eason was then charged with strangulation assault and is considered a felony.
A North Carolina court clerk told the Sun last January that Eason was charged in a child abuse case on suspicion of an attack on Jenelle’s firstborn in September 2023.
“They found sufficient evidence to take his case from the district court, where misdemeanors are detained and bring them to their superiors,” a court spokesperson said at the time, citing the level of justice that deals only with felonies.
Meanwhile, he returns to the present.
Here’s another thing we know:
In the aforementioned 911 call, Evans said his son was not taking drugs, not drunk, and had no weapons. She claims that Jace has ADHD and rebellious disorders, but he do not have I’m taking medication for that.
Based on the official dispatch notes, officers arrived at Jenelle’s house shortly after the phone was called.
By this time, her son had escaped from the residence… but Jenelle wanted the officers to find him and put him in an unwilling 72-hour hold.
However, the young man hadn’t threatened himself or anyone else, so the officer clearly told Jenelle he couldn’t do this.
During the period last year, Jenelle lost custody of Jace, but Child Protective Services conducted an investigation into his loss of failure.
It’s unclear when, or when Jace returned home this weekend.
This isn’t the first time that Jenelle has called her a police officer since her family moved to Las Vegas last year.
Back in October, roughly the same incident happened, with an MTV personality calling 911 to report Jace being broken things and destroying her home after he and his mom got caught up in an argument.
Jace ran away after the incident. It was then removed from Jenelle’s house for about a month due to the above investigation.
