Diddyis fighting back against allegations of sexual misconduct … filing an answer in one of the many civil lawsuits he faces, arguing that his alleged conduct is time-barred because the statute of limitations ran years ago.
Lawyers for the rap mogul, Bad Boy Entertainment and Daddy’s House Recording said: Crystal McKinneyRegarding Diddy’s sexual assault lawsuit, McKinney said claims under the Gender-Based Violence Victims Protection Act became time-barred in 2010, seven years after McKinney alleged she was assaulted by Diddy.
Her lawyers cited local ordinances that set out the time frame for reviving claims, but Diddy’s team argues that New York state law takes precedence … and state law says the time has now passed for CM to bring a claim.
The letter also argues that Bad Boy and Diddy’s other companies cannot be sued because they did not facilitate the alleged wrongdoing and therefore cannot be held liable.

Crystal said she drank Hennessy and smoked cigarettes with Diddy and friends in the studio, said she felt like she was floating, and claims the marijuana may have been laced with drugs.
Diddy then took her into a bathroom and forced her to perform oral sex, she said. She was subsequently dropped from modelling jobs and attempted suicide the following year.
