I’m old enough to remember the huge, looming units with PCs. It had to be large to hold all the components that make up the PC. These have grown even bigger as high-end components produced a lot of heat as gaming PCs became a thing. Next, the heat had to be dissipated in a large amount of airflow. Thank you for Moore’s Lawthe components are now smaller and more efficient until even the gaming PC fits in a compact case.

Do you need a Mini-ITX case that can accommodate some of the biggest graphics cards? The Bitfenix Nova mesh can hold the NVIDIA RTX 3090 or AMD RX6900XT, and can also support graphics cards with radiators installed. The mesh panels and ample fans allow for generous airflow, but the good help of LED lighting adds visual entertainment.
Due to the inevitable accumulation of detritus in the air as air flows, this case is equipped with a “magnetic” filter to prevent dirt, dust and hair from entering the system.
The cables are routed behind the motherboard to keep the interior clear for airflow and reduce dust buildup.

What are the US tariffs?
Recent US tariffs on imports from countries such as China, Vietnam and India aim to increase domestic production, but are likely to raise prices for home appliances. Products like smartphones, laptops, and televisions can become more expensive as companies rethink their global supply chain and weigh the costs of changing production.
Also: There are high-tech buyers in the tariff war wondering what’s next. This is what we know
Even accessories like laptops, PCs and even PC cases will be hit hard by new US tariffs, with import operations likely to rise up by up to 35%. Many major brands still rely on factories in China and Vietnam. This means that consumers can quickly pay significantly more, from budget chrome books to high-end gaming rigs.
Manufacturers are exploring options such as relocating production to countries with low tariffs, but such changes can be complicated and may not provide immediate relief. In the short term, shoppers should predict that these trade policies will result in higher costs of accessories.
Currently, some technologies appear to be exempt from issued duties, but as it is constantly changing and developing, we are monitoring it and updating you with the latest ones.

There are many cases of mini ITX PCs available on the market from a variety of vendors. I’ve tested and used some from several vendors listed here (particularly thermal bamboo and fractal design). I’m based my choices on both my experience using these brands and on user reviews.
Product specifications and prices also come in, but you can draw dozens, sometimes hundreds, and sometimes hundreds of opinions from others. I paid particular attention to reports of quality, ease of use, how quiet and noisy the case is, and how quiet the cooling and airflow is, and weeded many people who thought were of poor quality.

Dust is a problem here because there is little room for airflow. Also, even small accumulations can form hot spots.
Handling it is the same as handling other PC cases. Wipe the panel with a dry microfiber cloth, grind the mesh fabric panel, clean the air filter according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and use compressed air to remove dust buildup in your PC.

For these reasons, people often choose to invest in mini PCs.
- Space savings: The biggest advantage of going to a mini PC is that it takes up significantly less space than traditional desktop PCs.
- portable: Mini PCs are lightweight and easy to move around, making them ideal for users who need computing power on the go.
- Energy Efficiency: Most mini-PCs consume significantly less power than similarly identified desktop systems. This could potentially reduce electricity costs.
- Quiet: These systems are built with quiet fans and good airflow, making them much quieter than traditional systems.
