What an amazing time to be in the 2023 WNBA season. This season was the most-watched regular season in over 20 years, and it’s no exaggeration to say people were watching. With the emergence of super teams like the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty, this season was supposed to be amazing. And that awesomeness continued all the way to the postseason, where the Aces and Liberty battled for the championship.
But the battle wasn’t just on the court, it was in the tunnel too. From Olivia Nelson-Ododa strutting in a Diesel dress and thigh-high boots to Natasha Cloud showing off her tattoos in a muscle t-shirt, W basketball players put their style sense on full display. And our girls know how to accessorize. Whether it’s Tiffany Hayes and her iconic bags, Diamond DeShields and her beaded braids, or Rae Burrell and her trademark sunglasses, our first-team honorees know how to pull together a sleek, laid-back look.
Speaking of style, League Fit has officially announced the winners of its prestigious All-League Fit Second Team awards. DiJonai Carrington effortlessly rocks sporty chic styles, from cargo pants and skirts to sneakers and heels. Shatori Kimbrough Walker expertly mixes streetwear with style. Courtney Williams and Areek Ogunbowale bring bold and eccentric style to the tunnel fit and on the court. And then there’s the queen of the two-piece set, Kalia Copper, who knows how accessories can make an outfit an outfit.
Let’s get started. Here are the 2023 All-LeagueFits First and Second Team winners.
