Whale TV, an independent television operating system maker, has begun rolling out a new version of Whale OS that includes AI recommendations and voice assistants.
Whale TV partners include more than 400 brands, including Philips, JVC, and Telefunken, and will initially have access to Whale OS 10, although availability in the US has not yet been confirmed. The Singapore-based company, formerly known as Zeasn, powers more than 43 million active smart TVs worldwide, according to a press release.

In addition to the OS update, the company is offering a free TV streaming service, Whale TV Plus, to all Whale TV devices. Whale TV Plus, which integrates Whale TV’s previous service rlaxx TV and Whale Live, allows users to stream free, ad-supported TV without any additional sign-up steps.
