In the next story slide, Catelynn shares what she believes to be the cause of the problem.

“It’s funny how some people say I’m ‘blaming’ them when I was literally just sharing how I feel and not calling them any hurtful names,” she said. “As biological parents, we’re taught to just take what’s given to us and think we’re ‘lucky,’ but to stay quiet and be quiet when something goes wrong. Well, that’s all for today.”
Kaitlyn and Tyler Baltierra shared their visit with Carly last year on social media.
Caitlin and Tyler gave birth to Carly when they were 16 and decided to put her up for adoption. They documented the process on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom. They set up an open adoption with the adoptive parents, allowing them to keep up with Carly and meet her.

“If I were Carly I would be so mad at them. Wait a minute you made the decision to let me go and then you’re going to act if I get taken away from you? Brendon and Theresa are her parents, they did it all. The sleepless nights, the worry, the parenting, they did it all. Tyler and Kate are the ones who just didn’t want her. If they regret their decision it has nothing to do with Carly,” one viewer said.
Another person commented, “I don’t think Brandon and Teresa are intentionally trying to hurt you guys. Carly may have said something privately to them about you guys being in the public eye and wanting to remain anonymous at home. She’s living the normal teenage life that you guys dreamed of and decided to give her. Brandon and Teresa seem to be very respectful of that. When Carly is ready she will come to you guys.”
