Notebooklm, Google’s AI-driven memoting service, has received an upgrade that makes sharing your research even easier.
Starting today, notebooks can now be published through a single link. Anyone who sends this link to classmates, colleagues, fellow teachers, students, or friends can see your notes. Those who send the link cannot edit the notebook, but they can ask questions and create AI-generated content from the notebook’s information.

It was possible to share notebooks before, but I had to enter someone’s email address and choose whether to read-only, edit, or edit access. This new process makes things much easier, especially if you’re sharing with a large group where everyone’s email addresses aren’t known.
Google says it’s easy to publish your notebook. All you have to do is tap or click on the top right corner of the notebook and change access to “People with the link”. If you later delete this notebook or change your privacy settings, the link will no longer work.
Notebooklm uses AI to help you organize your research. This is a visual notebook that holds research on text, documents, links, and topics. (You’ll even find relevant sources on the topic for you.)
When you feed a YouTube video, Google Docs slides, links, or notes, you will see an AI-generated summary about the topic. You can then chat with AI to learn more about the topic and create a mock podcast that will help you study the topic or you can become a guest.
If you want to try it, you can use Notebooklm freely, Paid version There are additional features.
