Despite the assumption that she may have a team curating her beauty routine, Kelse quickly closes the idea, revealing that she has been using the same affordable makeup products since high school, often applying them within five minutes.
“We don’t have a team,” she revealed. “I’ve been wearing the same makeup since high school. I wear the same Covergirl Mascara, Vaseline and Chapstick.”
When it comes to stepping up her makeup for a more formal occasion, Kelse shared that she dabbed on a bit of concealer under her eyes and on her eyelids.

Her routine also includes one high-end staple, the Bareminerals Powder Foundation. “I don’t wear the foundation, I wear the powder,” she explained. “I think it’s technically basic, but that’s the Bareminerals Powder.”
She didn’t specify a favorite, but the brand’s original loose powder foundation and 24-hour skin-biased powder are some of the most popular.

What about bronzer and blush? Kelse admits that she tends to apply them, but only to wipe them out immediately. “I usually scrape it off, that makes sense!” she joked.
One thing that doesn’t change anytime soon? Though her eyebrows have received a lot of unsolicited advice from beauty experts. “You guys really have an opinion about my eyebrows,” she said. “They look like this cousin, but that’s close enough.”
Kelse also had a message to those who continued to offer to “fix” them. “If you’re a professional frown, stop sending DMS to fix your eyebrows,” she said. “Everyone, if I had bothered, I would have fixed it by now.”

For Kelse, the “most important step” of her routine is mascara, and she recently added a new step to her beauty regimen. “I recently graduated to curl my lashes, so it’s a big deal,” she shared.
