The Jacksonville Jaguars returned home early this morning after a 26-23 loss to the Colts on Sunday after their arrival in Indianapolis was delayed by a winter storm that disrupted their trip across the central United States.
The team’s charter flight was delayed for seven hours, leaving players and staff on the plane on the tarmac at Indianapolis International Airport. The charter flight landed in Jacksonville at 2:50 a.m. ET.
Indianapolis was among the cities under a winter storm warning until Monday. The National Weather Service forecast calls for heavy snow at times in central Indiana, with accumulations of 2 to 5 inches, freezing drizzle and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
The Kansas City Chiefs decided to stay in Denver overnight after their game against the Broncos due to the storm.
