Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are the first NBA All-Interview team headlines to honor players who are consistently thoughtful, insightful and media-related, the Association of Professional Basketball Writers announced today.. Curry from the Golden State Warriors and Durant from the Phoenix Suns were the top finishers in the PBWA members’ vote and joined the 2024-25 All Interview First Team. The players will be creating the All Interview second teams include Mike Conley Jr. of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tyreese Halliburton of the Indiana Pacers, Bum Adebayo of the Miami Heat, Josh Hart of the New York Knicks, and Damian Lillard of the Bucks. The All Interview team, once a staple of the official NBA awards, was cancelled after the 2003-04 season. The PBWA is now reclaiming it as a way to recognize players who consistently provide insights, details and depth that brings our stories back to life, whilst meeting (or exceeding) mandated media obligations. “We are excited to bring back our All Interview team and are delighted to regain support from the league,” said PBWA president Howard Beck. “We can’t tell a great story without a great interview. We really appreciate the players who made our work more fun and brightened our stories.” -video. Professional basketball writer / May 8, 2025
