Is it just me, or does something as simple as a beautiful tablescape make the holidays feel so much more special? As Easter approaches, I wanted to bring out the pastel colored linens and vases to welcome spring. I love pink, but sometimes I have to tone it down, especially since our house is so modern. That’s why I like to mix different textures. these wooden chargers. Although the material has a masculine feel, the scalloped edges give it a feminine impression. I also opted for blue striped napkins instead of pink to give the table a more pastel story, unlike the monochromatic pink vibe I went for recently for Galentine’s Day.
Spring is my favorite season for obvious reasons. I’m crazy about flowers. And the weather (in Los Angeles) is still warm enough that you can wear a classy dress with a dainty cardigan. It’s really the best of both worlds. Maybe it’s because I’m an April baby, and the start of spring means my birthday is coming up and I need to convince my husband to go on some kind of holiday (Santa Ynez, anyone?!) or vacation. Maybe it’s because I know something. Please travel with me. Either way, I’m looking forward to all the freshness and beauty that spring brings.
Thank you for stopping by.
