The Steelers are sending out their second round pick as part of the deal. Seattle reportedly originally wanted a first round and a third round pick, but compensation to pay Metcalf helped cut the price.
Metcalf reportedly wanted to play for a team in warm weather, but the Steelers’ ability to give him a contract for this caliber played a role in landing him in Pittsburgh.
