The Indianapolis Colts got some good and bad news on Thursday’s injury report, as C Ryan Kelly, who was not listed on yesterday’s injury report, missed today’s practice with a neck injury. OT Braden Smith, who is tasked with blocking TJ Watt, missed yesterday’s practice with a knee injury, but was a full participant today. DE Kwity Paye and cornerback Kenny Moore II also sat out for the second day in a row, which doesn’t bode well for their availability Sunday. The team relayed the injury report. On Twitter.

The other bad news for Indianapolis is that DE Tiquan Lewis has been downgraded from a full participant yesterday to a non-participant today. The Steelers will be without OLB Alex Highsmith, and the Colts appear to be missing some key players on defense as Lewis, Moore and Paye will miss Thursday’s practice.
The Colts already lost DL DeForest Buckner, who was placed on IR prior to Week 2. Losing Paye against the Steelers would be another blow to the defensive line, especially if Lewis is unavailable.
The good news for the Colts is that Smith is fully back and will likely be available Sunday. Watt will be a tough matchup, so it will be important for Smith to practice as much as possible against the talented edge rusher. Moore is one of the best slot corners in the league. If he can’t play, the Steelers could target another slot receiver, but that would likely be Calvin Austin III, who is coming off the best game of his career.
