MLB All-Star Week is approaching, with the league revealing the jerseys for this year’s 2025 Home Run Derby. This will take place at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, on the eve of the All-Star Game on July 14th.
The jersey pays tribute to two members of the history, Babe Ruth (for the Boston Braves) and Henry Aaron, who broke Ruth’s home run records.
As a designated home team, the National League threads are in a light blue shade, while the American League jerseys are in a dark blue. All ESPN. The jock tag includes “ATL 2025” and comes in three main colors, with “Al” or “NL” displayed on the left chest of the uniform.
National League players will wear No. 44, while American League players will wear No. 3.
These will be all uniforms except for the actual All-Star Game, where players wear main homes and road threads. The 2025 All-Star Game will be held the following day, July 15th. They numerically imply (7/14 and 7/15) Ruth’s career home run total (714) stood for decades as a MLB record before Aaron surpassed him in his historic 715th.
Atlanta’s own superstar Ronald Acona Jr. was the first player to announce his participation in the iconic event, and then Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Lowry led the majors with 33 homers. Washington Nationals outfielder James Wood has 22 homers this season and is the third player to announce his participation.
The 22-year-old wood has 12 home runs that have been hit harder than 110 mph. It is the second most common after Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani (13).
