The Trump administration is asking federal agencies to cancel the remaining federal contracts with Harvard University, according to government officials.
A letter dated Tuesday from the U.S. General Services Agency directs institutions to submit a list of contracts terminated with the university by June 6th.

“Now we are encouraging your agency to look for alternative vendors for future services that we previously considered Harvard,” reads a letter signed by Josh Gruenbaum, Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Services at GSA.
Government officials who didn’t want to name because they were not allowed to speak confirmed the credibility of the letters that were first published New York Times.
Harvard has not yet responded to NPR’s request for comment.
