“Shay Lynn Lawrence. Born January 4th/25th at 4:01am. 10 lbs 2 oz 🎀🩷,” Marissa, 25, wrote. Via Instagram Monday, January 6th. “Mom and Dad love you so much!!!” Thank you Jesus for our daughter!!”
The couple’s announcement included a photo of Marissa and Trevor, 25, lying in a hospital bed. The girl rested between them and smiled for the camera.
Marissa wore a cozy black pajama set, and the football player wore a baseball cap that read “Girl Dad” for the occasion. Trevor also wore an arm sling when he underwent shoulder surgery last month to repair damage to his AC joint. Their little one looked adorable in a white dress.

Marissa’s post also included a snapshot of her and Trevor bringing their young child home. In one photo, Trevor used his good arms to carry his daughter out while she was strapped into a car seat.
When the family of three returned home, Marissa shared a photo of Shay and Shay sitting next to a window overlooking the backyard.
Trevor and Marissa are high school sweethearts who started dating in 2016. The two got engaged after four years of dating. The two got married in April 2021. In June 2024, Marissa revealed that she was pregnant with her first child with Trevor.
“Little Lawrence is on the way 🤍,” she captioned the announcement, which featured her, Trevor, and their two pups.
A month after sharing the happy news, Marissa and Trevor learned they were expecting a baby girl. The couple held an ice cream-themed sex reveal party with close friends and family in attendance.
