The living room off the kitchen feels “complete” and I love the cozy finished space. Most of these pieces came from previous homes, but in addition to this striped sofa and these swing arm floor lamp From Ballard Designs.
Even though this room doesn’t have a TV and opens into a larger living space with a TV and fireplace…this is where we spend our time. So A lot of our time. Christian wanted it to feel more like a living room than a dining area, and he was right. When it’s not just the family of five, we eat in the dining room. But our nuclear family usually eats at the kitchen island, or Christian and I share meals together at this little round table (a hand-me-down from my parents).
