One thousand fourteen. It’s been many days since the last episode. retirement allowance Season 1 aired, and Season 2 will premiere today, January 16, 2025, on Apple TV+ (several hours earlier than scheduled). That’s a long time no matter how you look at it, especially in today’s fast-paced world of pop culture. Was it worth the wait?

The Season 2 premiere picks up where Season 1 left off, and while it doesn’t answer all your questions right away, it at least gives you more information and context to think about. io9 will post a summary and breakdown of the full episode on Friday once more people have watched it (and on Monday we’ll also post a quote from showrunner Dan Erickson about the episode’s biggest spoilers ).
