What does the “dream” offseason look like for the New York Giants?
Obviously, landing a franchise quarterback must be part of that, but upgrading talent up and down the roster is also on the menu.
Mason Cameron from Pro Football Focus Recently, he outlined the “dream offseason” for all 32 NFL teams, and the Giants’ best moves chose Colorado quarterback Chedure Sanders in the third overall selection, freeing veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs I think it’s about signing an agency.
As mentioned in PFF’s best landing spot series, the Giants are expected to play for one of the top quarterbacks in their class as they hold the top three draft picks. Sanders is often linked to New York and was given a strong foundation as a passerby with a fundamentally sound mechanism that provides tools for developing at the next level. The reason is not surprising.
Pairing with Diggs’ breakout star Malik Narvers gives Sanders plenty of opportunity to produce quickly, providing quality weapons in the receiving game.
The Giants, who have a record of 9-25 over the last two seasons and averaged 15.8 points per game on offense over that period, have no real wrong answers.
They require the dynamism of attack as well as production. They also need to alienate the narrative from gaping HR mistakes that have exacerbated the issues of their culture.
Taking players who can add excitement to the field will help change the story of the Giants franchise, the worst ever, ever, when it comes to popularity.
