Kate Tracy, Sam Boswell and Declan Ricks will pick their potential winners for the latest updates in the Boylesport Rocking Stakes, Live from Newbury at Sky Sports Race on Saturday.
Eight runners will post more than a mile to the Group One Contest held in Berkshire. This earned a final term by the audience when they were allowed to escape the frontend under Lovehavlin.
Rosalion leads Richard Hannon’s early market and made its first start since landing the St. James Palace stakes at Royal Ascott in June. Dancing Gemini, notable speech, Tamfana will also appear in the incredible race, which is live at Sky Sports Race at 2:35pm.

“I was really trying to get it Rosalion But you go round the horse before you come back and think, “Why am I making this complicated?” I was very enthusiastic about him for Guinea in 2000 when he was beaten by a notable speech, but there were some unfortunate stories that day. I know that Rosalion didn’t get fresh in there, but he got a notable speech in that race with plenty of conditioning to his name from all weather last season.
“It’s now one between Rosalion and a prominent speech, and I know the latter wasn’t at the best in St. James’ palace, but considering how he was a game, nothing left him that day.
Sam Boswell…
“RosalionMy first Record Fresh didn’t put off on 7/4. I use a half-glass approach, but the trouble is where can Richard Hannon put this horse for a quick start to the season? No – he has to take on the best. I was really excited to come back to him and, strangely, I had unfairly denied his abilities, so it took me a while to warm up to him.
“We saw what he could do in Guinea and he reversed that shape at St. James’ Palace. The market will probably tell you everything – we managed to get a good effect on it last week’s Derby Trial – and with so many angles with each runner, I have a solid colour on the mast of Hanon’s ship.
Declan Ricks…
“I think it’s safe to say that the two important horses here are Rosalion, and form’s famous speeches. They haven’t run a little, they’re both really strong travelers and will be their first outing for the season, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how they physically did it in the winter.
“I know he was a two-year-old, but I saw what happens in the winter with a lion and a horse that has long been his first start. You’re fresh and you become a gussy.
“If they’re a little fresh, I hope they’ll be updated like last year. The horses are loose from the front end. Sean Levy has settled down with Rosalion back, and (William) Buick does the same in a notable speech given that he’s two horses comfortable on seven furlongs.
“I want a similar scenario to last year, and that led me Lead Artist -22/1 is a big price! He was running and the Gosdens have won two of his last 10 updates. Looking at his pedigree, he is by Dubawie from a mare called duty coming from the absolutely incredible Judd Monte family.
“I defend things like Banks Hill, Kashike, Elysie and Danciri. He’ll be better this year. I really hope Newberry won’t let water overnight.
“Don’t get me wrong. He’s not as good as Rosalion or his famous speech, but he’s running and hoping he can make them submit to the day.”
