John Legend has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House program. He will perform at the RMHC Global 50th Anniversary Gala in Chicago on November 16th, celebrating 50 years of support for families with sick and injured children across 62 countries and territories. “My family understands the importance of having direct access to quality health care and a strong support system,” John said.
Nelly and Kelly Rowland reunited last weekend at the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell, where they performed a surprise performance of their 2002 hit “Dilemma.” The event also presented Charlize Theron with the Giving Tree Award in recognition of her lifelong advocacy for vulnerable women and girls around the world. More than $17 million has been raised to support Baby2Baby. Other attendees included Ashanti, Ciara, Katy Perry, Jennifer Garner, and more.
CMA announced that George Strait will receive the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 58th CMA Awards on November 20th. This award is given to the most acclaimed iconic artist in country music. Previous winners include Willie Nelson, Johnny Chas, Dolly Parton and Alan Jackson. Lady Gaga has released the acoustic version of her first single produced from her album scheduled to be released in February 2025, “DISEASE (THE ANTIDOTE LIVE)”.

Elton John and Brandi Carlile have performed a new original song, “Never Too Late,” inspired by the upcoming Disney+ documentary “Elton John: Never Too Late.” The documentary follows Elton as he reflects on his life and the early years of his 50-year career. The documentary, directed by RJ Cutler and David Furnish, will premiere on December 14th.
