Eastern Conference Finals continue as the fourth seed Indiana Pacers After beating the third seed, he was on the verge of clinching the NBA Finals Verse New York Knicks In Game 4, you get an edge of 3-1 in the series.
The Knicks are aiming to reach the final for the first time since 1999. This postseason, New York eliminated the sixth seed Detroit Piston And then I processed number 2 Boston Celtics.
Meanwhile, the Pacers are about to return to the final since their last appearance in 2000. Cleveland Cavaliers.
Here’s what’s available for Knicks’ key game 3 victory and game 4:
____
What stood out for the Pacers: The playoff story is Tyrees Halliburton. It’s not just the Eastern Conference Finals. play off. The league’s most “overrated” player, Halliburton had an even more epic performance in Game 4, finishing with 32 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds and zero turnovers. He was the first player in NBA history and finished with that statistical line. Halliburton was offensive from Go-Go, finishing two rebounds that shyly made a triple double at halftime with 20 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. When Halliburton plays with such strength, good things happen for the Pacers, as they did in Game 4. The 6-foot-5 Halliburton had more than twice as much rebound as his teammates. However, he had a lot of help at an offensive end. Pascal Siakam (30 points) and Benedict Maturin (20 points) made a major contribution.
What stood out for the Knicks: Their Achilles heels were sales. They fumbled the ball in 17 times and scored 20 points for Pacer. The game had 13 lead changes and 10 tiers, with the Knicks reducing their 15-point deficit to just six points in the fourth quarter, but were unable to complete their comeback. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 31 points, Karl-Anthony Towns had 24 points and 12 rebounds, while OG Anunoby added 22 points, but was ultimately overwhelmed by the Pacers’ relentless defense and balanced offensive efforts.
What’s available for Game 5: For the Pacers, this will be their toughest game this season. Trying to win an elimination game at Madison Square Garden is not an easy task, especially for teams who have made three 20-point comebacks this season. If the Knicks can stare at a 20-point deficit without flinching, they must believe they can become one of the few teams in NBA history to recover from the 3-1 series deficit. As for the Knicks, this is either doing it or die. They have taken control from the start, took better care of the ball and did it many times in Game 4, so they need to focus on preventing the Pacers from going out on the run. Pacer is now aiming to win one victory from the final and win his first championship as an NBA franchise.
