Want to experience Michigan’s adventure amusement park in one day?
Michigan Adventure is an amusement park owned by the small Cedar Fair (now six flags) in western Michigan near Lake Michigan.
There is also a water park called Wildwater Adventure, which is included in the entrance.
I grew up in the Midwest and had never heard of this park before buying a good Cedar Fair Season Pass in all of their parks (including Canada).
JP and I decided to go on a voluntary trip here to explore new areas, take road trips from there and use pass perks in places we have never been to.
The biggest part of a day visit to Michigan adventures is that most days, admission is less than $50 per person!

Michigan adventure day itinerary
I’m no joke when I say that Michigan adventures are a small amusement park.
There are only four major roller coaster and carnival style rides.
But if you have little kids, there are seemingly endless children’s vehicles to keep them literally occupying them all day long.
We went on a random week in the summer, but it wasn’t busy at all so there was no need to wait in line.
We were in the next group and we were all the rides we were in line, so we actually did all the rides in about 2 hours.
So it doesn’t take a whole day to do everything, but that’s because it was too cold to enjoy the water park when we went.
We will be back I will definitely plan ahead to visit on a day when I can enjoy both.

vehicle
So, the main thing you want to plan your day is the ride. That’s a kind of reason to go to entertainment parks.
One thing to keep in mind is that the paths in the park do not make a perfect circle. train You can either go back to the front or walk all the way.
I chose the train.
there is Swan Boat Because you can ride the pond and it was probably my favorite ride throughout the park, so it’s so scenic and relaxing.

Roller coaster
There are two loop coasters, two wooden coasters, a mousetrap coaster, and two kids coasters.
I dropped the rope corkscrew Because it’s at the entrance.
Thunderhawk It is the first hanging loop coaster in Michigan, and if there is no line, it’s best to enjoy it from the front row.
None of the roller coasters are very expensive, making them well tame for less adventurous park visitors.
I think it’s actually a wooden roller coaster Trembling wood It was the most thrilling of all of them, due to the steep hills and how many wooden roller coasters sway around you.
It’s also like a park icon.

Carnival style rides
Above all, there are carnival-style rides here.
It’s fine because they’re a fast little ride that you can do all in every small area.
If you can’t spin, it eliminates almost all of them.
Here are some of the carnival style rides they have:
- Carousel
- dodgem (Bumper vehicle)
- Flying (swing)
- Giant gondola wheel (Ferris Wheel)
- Lakeside glider (Flying Eagle swing)
- Scrambler
- Sea Dragon (Swing ship)
- Thunderbolt (Music car that goes diagonally into a circle)
- Tilt-A-Whirl (Tea cup)
- Trabant (Spin and lift)

Get on the water
Without a few water rides, the amusement park was not completed.
Each Michigan adventure has one of its major types of water rides.
There are log waterways, river rapids, boats, and large drops (and big splashes).
- Adventure Falls (Boat with drop)
- Grand Rapids (River Rapids)
- The logger runs (Load bar)

Water Park
The water park has a bit of everything.
Park icons are huge funnels Fear funnel.
But there are plenty of tammer slides, lazy rivers and wave pools too.
The water park also has a children’s play area.
The entrance is attached to an amusement park, so you can easily get back and forth between the two.
I’m going to spend the warmest part of the day here.
For example, you’ll do as many rides as you can fit before lunch, then have lunch and then head to the water park until you’re ready to eat again.

Where to eat
Cute retro diners are invited to the adventures of Michigan coaster Comes with a burger and chicken strips.
That’s the same as other Cedar Fair Parks we prefer Kings Island and Cedar Point.
The topping bar has many options to fortify burgers such as lettuce, tomatoes and onions, which is self-service.
We just ate that meal because it wasn’t enough to keep us there all day.
But there are pizza, Aunt Anne’s pretzels, funnel cakes, chicken finger spots, dippin dots, ice cream, fries, kettle corn, beer garden, wings and nachos.

Things to do nearby
When we visited, the park was only open until 7pm so we didn’t stay until it closed, so we took the extra time to explore our local area.
It takes about 45 minutes Michigan, Netherlands.
It’s a cute, historic downtown with Dutch architecture and shops.
There are also wine tasting rooms, pubs, antique shops and a lovely restaurant.
I personally loved the shop with cuckoo clocks, wooden tulips and Dutch home decorations.

We also went to Grand Rapids for dinner at a great restaurant Scholar.
I sampled everything on the menu as an appetizer, including deviled eggs and stuffed animals dates.

After that, Salisbury steak and house salad were available as appetizers.

Conclusion: One day’s itinerary for Michigan adventures
Michigan adventures are the smallest theme park we’ve been to, but it was still an amazing experience.
It’s a very cute park and a half day park.
It’s much easier to make a day’s visit if you can visit the water park when the weather is good enough.
