Kate Cassidy remains shocked and saddened to the core.
Liam Payne’s girlfriend of two years has paid a new tribute in his honor following his sudden death, sharing photos of the couple, their past and hopes on Instagram. They shared heartfelt messages about the future.
“I don’t even know where to start. My heart is broken beyond words. It feels so dark right now, but I hope you know the great impact you have had on the world. ” Cassidy told Payne directly.
“You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone, including your millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are truly and incredibly loved.”
Cassidy broke his silence about the tragedy on October 18th.
As you may have already heard, the One Direction alum died earlier this month after falling from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A preliminary autopsy report said Mr Payne died from “multiple wounds with internal and external bleeding” and was believed to have been “semi- or fully unconscious” at the time of the fall.
Further investigation later concluded that Payne had multiple drugs in her system at the time of her death, including the presence of pink cocaine.
Meanwhile, Cassidy started dating her late boyfriend, 31, in 2022.
But she said on Oct. 23 that the couple talked about more than just that. date.
“A few weeks ago we sat outside on a beautiful evening and expressed our life together. Even though you told me not to look, I keep your notes close by. There, the model wrote, “Me and Kate will be married in a year/engaged and together forever444,” adding elsewhere:
“You were – because I can’t say you were – my best friend and the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt as special as I did.
“Your energy was contagious and lit up every room you entered…
“None of this feels real and I can’t wrap my head around the new reality that you’re not here. I’m wondering how I’m going to live alone in a world without you. Together, we… I am back to being a child who always finds joy in the little things.”
In addition to Cassidy, Payne is survived by his parents, two older sisters, and a 7-year-old son, Bear Gray.
Following Payne’s death, many celebrities, including Justin Bieber, expressed extreme sympathy and sadness.
“You’re always with me. I got a guardian angel,” Cassidy concluded on Wednesday.
“I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, and I will carry our dreams and memories with me wherever I go.”
