Who wears shorts?
In a shocking new video that none of her social media followers saw…JoiAnna Duggar wears shorts!
It’s true, everyone.
Late last week, the mother of three posted a video on Instagram featuring what it’s like to be a mother of three.
In the video, Joy-Anna and her husband Austin’s children, Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner, are seen waking up and getting ready for the day with their mother.
They eat oatmeal for breakfast. They comb their hair. They are dropped off at what appears to be a school or daycare center.
And Joy-Anna is apparently heading to her local gym for a bootcamp-style workout.
However, most observers ignored Duggar’s form performing various exercises and instead focused on the unexpected sighting of the former reality star’s bare feet.
According to her conservative and pretty wicked parents Jim Bob and Michelle, this is something the Duggar women are never allowed to show.
“It was a good workout,” Joy-Anna told the cameras after returning from the gym. “I got some [personal records]”
Of course, as loyal celebrity gossip followers well know, Joy-Anna and her siblings were raised inside the Institute for Basic Living Principles…the religion’s website states that members are required to “dress modestly”. “It is the greatest honor to show the Lord and one another by doing things respectfully.” ”
“The overall guidelines for meeting attire are a conservative, understated style. Men are encouraged to wear a shirt and tie; women wear a modest blouse and skirt, or dress for all sessions. “You are encouraged to do so,” the website continues.
“We ask that young adults wear dress slacks, a collared shirt, and a tie. Suit jackets are optional. Young women are encouraged to wear dress slacks, collared shirts, and ties. Suit jackets are optional. Blouses should be modest and should not be sleeveless, fitted, or see-through.
However, Joy-Anna has been breaking the family rules here and there lately.
Recently, she and some of her sisters have been spotted wearing shorts or pants in defiance of their mothers and fathers, who raise their children to stricter standards.
Joy-Anna has opened up about her decision to opt for more personal style in recent years, including tight-fitting pants.
“[We] “I felt like there was nothing in the scriptures that made clothing black and white,” the former “19 Kids” and “Counting” star explained in a March 2023 YouTube video, adding:
“Biblically speaking, we just read the Bible for a long time and felt like this was OK for our family.”
Yes, that’s true.
It’s so sad that Jim Bob and Michelle created an atmosphere that it took a long time for the kids to realize.
