Israel launched a massive air force attack on Iran in the middle of the night. Dozens of Israeli Air Force planes reportedly attacked Iranian targets early in the morning, reportedly raiding nuclear and military facilities, killing revolutionary security guard Hossein Salami and other commanders.
In Israel, sirens sounded around 3am nationwide, making the country wary. The public was urged to stay near security rooms and public shelters as the Home Guard warned that a severe retaliation attack from Iran was expected. Israel intercepted 100 drones fired by Iran. Israel’s airspace has been closed with all flights to and from the country cancelled. Schools and educational institutions are not operating today.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran plans to produce 10,000 ballistic missiles and that it cannot be left to the next generation’s mission to prevent this. He added that the attack was designed to remove existential threats to Israel.
