When you were screaming in your eyes, we thought it might be a good time to talk about the latest episode. Our Last. The penultimate episode was just released on HBO and was incredible. I would like to ask for a completely traditional summary on Monday, but before that, we had to give everyone a committee member and a place to discuss it.
In this week’s episode called “The Price,” we finally got to see Ellie’s birthday present, an unforgettable flashback scene. The final part II. And it lived on its predecessor from the careful eyes of franchise creator and episode director Neil Druckman. But building it, this episode took even more steps, creating scenes specifically made for the show, including Ellie’s birthday before and after the museum.
After that, in the end, things caught up to the show’s timeline, catching up to the first episode of season 2, revealing it before Joel died, Ellie learned. She finally learns that Joel has killed everyone at Salt Lake City Hospital in selfish acts to save her life and sacrifice the lives of the world. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey absolutely killed this scene, after years of tension, when Joel and Ellie finally get clean and agree to forgive them.
Of course, we are now, from the show, basically the last they’ve spoken to. It’s a heavy, heavy episode, before you talk about the whole storyline involving Eugene, played by Joe Pantoliano. Hawkeye Start Needalton.
So, below, feel free to discuss the episodes if you have a fit. If you played the game, did it live up to your expectations? If you haven’t, what did you think? Again, Monday morning, there’s a complete, detailed summary and response, but for now, I’ll explain the “prices” below.
