Health is wealth! Elizabeth Chambers Sitting on ET reveals her non-toxic self-care ritual for the season 1 finale of Season 1 Investigation Discovery’s Docusary Toxic.
The 42-year-old journalist wanted to help the survivors after experiencing her trauma following her divorce from her ex-husband. Army Hammerin 2020, when she discovered allegations about his sexual conduct.
“I can’t say enough about this process and the level of pride and joy, and I feel like I’m watching this show.
In addition to counselling people affected by the dynamics of unhealthy relationships, the two moms prioritize her personal health routine.
“I try to do my best in everything I do. It includes self-care. I have a great belief in oxygen mask theory. I take better care of my children and the people around me when I’m the best in my health,” she explains.
Her main tip: “The right therapist, journaling, and when you have doubts, walk it. …In the dream world, I walked 4-5 miles a day and spent at least an hour weightlifting with my trainer Kirsten Stallone.”
And if you want to make it a notch, Chambers follows a unique schedule.
“I drink some hot water with lemon, then some organic celery juice and then I drink GT Dave’s trilogy kombucha before 8am,” the model spills.
“I love the freeze on the face, where a bowl of ice cold water is 15 seconds, three times, if it’s a hair wash day, and a full hair dip. It wakes up, reduces inflammation, closes the hair follicles and shines as an additional welcome bonus,” she continues.
Bird Bakery owners can also ensure they maintain a healthy diet with a dessert side.
“I love everything I make at Bird Bakery and definitely enjoy my sugar. I try to eat everything in moderation, but I have a blood type of type 0 so I love my protein.
These practices help Chambers feel like her ultimate best self and be prepared to do anything.
“While self-guarantees help you avoid toxic dynamics, I think life experience, work and setting boundaries are also important to avoid toxicity.
