I’ll share my thoughts Dr. Stephen Cabral Detox 7 Daysand share a recipe I enjoyed while doing this functional medical detox.
Hello friends! how are you? I hope you have a wonderful day for now. We are heading towards spring, the perfect time for detox, so today we are re-sharing this post. Hundreds of people together with me have detoxified this functional drug and experienced amazing results. For this, we will join the huge IHP community along with Group Detox. Over 50,000 people participated last time!! You can order Detox kit here (If this is your first time, use the code fitnessista10). The Facebook group is here.
Here is one summary of my experience with this detox!
In this post I wanted to share some of the recipes and meals I enjoyed for a friend who is considering detoxing this functional medication in their own time. Having a meal idea for the 3rd to 7th day is helpful. This post is intense because I wanted to include it. I’d like to grab a mug of coffee or tea and chat with YA to share my experience.
Let’s go!
Dr. Cabral’s 7 Days Detox Review + Recipes
What is detox? How does it work?
– Liver-based detox To help reset your body, it provides a break from the digestion of heavy foods and potentially helps your body eliminate toxins that accumulate from our environment. This includes functional drug ingredients and Ayurvedic herbs to support liver detoxification in phases 1 and 2. It helps in a variety of symptoms and helps to restore certain nutritional deficiencies and mineral levels while removing toxicity from the body.
– Focused on nutrition. This includes the Powerhouse Daily Nutritional Support Powder (I’ve been on a smoothie for the past few months and noticed a difference in how you feel when drinking this smoothie) and dietary guidelines for the rest of your diet. The goal is to prevent the body from depleting nutrients during the process.
– This powerful system can help you lose weight (That’s not the focus for me though.) Anti-aging and general health.
– It’s only 7 days! When I first started working with a naturopath (it used to be in 2010), he made me detox for a month that was similar in form (but it didn’t include Ayurvedic supplements). Seven days were very easy and I think my results have improved even better from the extra nutritional support. (Only supplements, fruits and smoothies for the first two days. On the third day, add a nutritious meal using dietary guidelines/templates.)
Each detox kit includes:
Daily Nutrition Support:
This one-stop shop for vitamins, minerals, proteins, electrolytes and antioxidants is Dr. It’s the heart and soul of CabralDetox. With 15 grams of vegan protein, daily nutritional support provides your body with much needed energy and nutrition while the body begins to remove itself from the toxins. This complete nutritional support is something I have every day, all year round.
FM Detox:
FM Detox utilizes the latest research in functional medicine to provide the compounds needed to support both stages of liver detoxification. Essential amino acids, antioxidants, and plant extracts like milk thistle help capture and transfer toxins to the liver, which can be metabolized and removed during phase 2. Ingredients like dandelion root extract support bile production to help remove it. As a diuretic, dandelion roots increase the amount of water supplied to the liver, which promotes the removal of toxins from the liver.
Ayu Detox:
Incorporating the ancient Ayurvedic healing traditions that support optimal detoxification, AM Detox helps you begin the detox process. Various diuretics transfer water to the liver and increase the solubility of the toxins. Triphala is a combination of three plants: Emblica officinalis, Terminalia bellerica, and Terminalia chebula, and has been studied for its role in gastrointestinal health. When used in combination, this powerful trio has been suggested to promote the growth of beneficial intestinal microorganisms, bifidobacteria and lactobacillus, while inhibiting the growth of unwanted strains.

My experience:
Day 1:
Day 1 was just shaking and supplements, and I was hoping to run away and feel tired. I felt it was amazing. I had a lot of energy and felt clear and focused. So I spent the day completely off the gym and spent an extra time meditating and reading in the evening.
Day 2:
I thought hunger would begin and it hit a rather hard afternoon. I had a bowl of raspberries and blueberries and felt better. And I thought that if I had to skip the third day at any point during the detox, I could. But I didn’t feel like I needed it. I felt even more tired this day and only took Mysy with me for our usual activities.
Day 3:
The first day I brought back Whole Foods and food was never so great in my life. This is why I love doing resets from time to time. It’s coming back to my taste and food I really enjoy. I made Channa Masala and I knew it would be flavorful, but it was bursting with spices and citrus. It was incredible. I felt the energy soar up in the afternoon, so I did some simple Sculpt Society training (no aerobic exercise, light weight and weight strength).
Day 4:
They bump into the ditches in their meal planning and feel like they are looking forward to the shake and their respective meals. This was another day off from the gym and I just walked through Mysey. Lunch was the perfect Mediterranean lentil dish (recipe below) for lunch, and dinner had the best scallops and asparagus. (I got a scallop from Butcherbox And the girls got hooked on them. )
5-7 days:
I started to go back to a more *normal* workout routine, but after feeling weak I’ve fixed it quite a bit. The next day, I took a picture of the F45 class the next day, and took Sunday as a rest day.
What I noticed during this detox:
– My uranium score was the best they’ve ever had in a row. I spent multiple triple crown days (usually if I get 3 in a week I’m pumped up)!! I slept very well and dreamed vividly every night.
(5 triple crown days in a week!)
My final thoughts/results:
Physically, I feel like the inflammation is down on my face and I wish I had taken a photo to compare. My wedding rings usually fit me snugly and are loose now. Mentally, I feel even more energized, focused and clear. I feel like I’m in touch with the way I like to eat. Before detoxing, it was very normal to walk past the pantry and grab cookies from the cookie jar every time. Sugar and snacks were not something I really enjoyed and started to become a habit.
Fruits and vegetables began to taste bland to me, and I realized I was craving more and more sugar. This helped me to remember how good they felt it was to concentrate on the fresh, whole food and how they tasted good. I will definitely do this again and maybe next time I’ll go for a 14-day plan. Many of the gals in our group continue the program because they find them so great. And I love being able to achieve the same results as the 21-day plan within 14 days.
We are exposed to so many toxins, pesticides and harmful chemicals in the modern world and we love implementing this tool every quarter.
Side effects of Dr. Cabral Detox
On days 1-2 of a detox plan, you may experience some of the following side effects: Side effects include jitter (or “brain fog”), headache, bloating, low mood, brain fog, and convulsions. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, don’t worry! It is a normal part of the detoxification process and disappears once your body gets used to being clean. Another side effect that many people notice is powerful weight loss. How much inflammation affects fat storage and water retention is wild.
Here is a short video I made in my experience:
7 Day Detox Recipe

Onion, chopped
Three cloves of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh chopped inger
15 oz totomato sauce
8 oz water

Mediterranean lentil dishes
Create 4 servings (save leftovers for future lunch or freezes)

2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup of thyme and basil each
In a large pot, saute onion and garlic in a little avocado oil until it smells good. Add lentils, artichokes, tanned tomatoes and oregano and season well with salt and pepper. Keep it warm as you make the dressing. Whisk all the dressing ingredients together and pour on top. Add extra lemon juice.
Hummus and Vegetable Wrap
– Made hummus with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, garlic flour, salt and pepper, served on a romaine boat with avocado, peppers and carrots
Detox Dinner Ideas
Hot Bar! One night, P was late in football, but I didn’t have the time (or energy) to make something. We went to the hot bar and I grabbed a scoop of old chicken, cabbage slaw, broccoli, cauliflower and hummus. It was perfect.
Scallops and asparagus (I made risotto for FAM too): Bread them with salt and pepper and serve with roasted ash paragus (garlic powder, avocado oil, salt and pepper).
Blackened salmon With an air fryer
Create 4 servings
Here’s the salmon recipe:
1/4 tsp each: Trader Joe’s seasonings with cumin, garlic powder, oregano, paprika and chilli lime (2 tablespoons of brown sugar added to the family)
Mix the above ingredients in a small bowl to make blackened seasonings
Season the salmon well with salt and pepper and preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Apply the salmon completely with seasoning and spray avocado oil into the basket of the air fryer. Add the salmon and cook for 7-10 minutes until cooked. Add the side you like! Had this with baked sweet potato and lemon and olive oil and salad
Turkey burger with avocado and vegetable salad: The pilot made a turkey burger, Femme had theirs on bread with waffle fries and salad, and I had mine with a chopped vegetable salad with avocado
