Detroit Lions linebacker james houston He’s adamant he didn’t take second place during Sunday’s game…and says the stain on the back of his pants was actually just a spilled sports drink.
Houston, the 217th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, put all speculation to rest in a late-night X-Post after Detroit’s come-from-behind win over the Texans…it was simply Gatorade, explaining the poop-colored marks on his white pants.
“Hey, I was eating Gatorade,” he wrote.
“Just calm down,” he added.
Of course, just a few hours earlier, many thought he might have had a bathroom accident… during the second of the “Sunday Night Football” tilts inside NRG Stadium. Check out the replay of his tackle early in the quarter. It looked like he did.

But according to Houston…there’s no problem here.
The 25-year-old actually had one of his best games of the season despite the whole ordeal…recording a sack in the 26-23 win, so was the Gatorade incident a blessing in disguise? ?
