The past few weeks have been boring and terrible for the market. On the macro front, technical front, price action may be flat and there may be no decisive moves, but do you think you can do the same thing as in June’s month?
Anshul Saigal: So, looking at the market movements over the last month or two, it has shifted considerably from what we saw in the first quarter of this year to what we saw in the last quarter of the previous year’s calendar year. Now that everyone flummies about why this is happening, then the fourth quarter results came, so what we saw in the fourth quarter results, with the exception of perhaps one or two sectors, there was a beat in the forecast, and this year ended with a 1% profit on a large basis of the previous year.
Last year, we had to keep in mind a revenue growth rate of around 24%. Another thing we noticed is that the upgrade-to-downgrade ratio that has been favored this quarter is also a change from the previous two quarters.
So, obviously the market was expecting this kind of outcome season, so the market came together just like they did. And it’s fair to digest this kind of movement, and it becomes somewhat like an integrated market. It will be a boring market for a while before the market was in place for the next leg of the move. As a result, as we saw in the last week or two, this month will be in range, eliminating the market’s travels leading up to its last two months.
Don’t you think that the escalation of the Russian Ukraine will affect market sentiment in the world, or across India, or India?
Anshul Saigal: I’ve seen this war break out one day on February 22nd, and it was a surprise, but of course a negative surprise, but then I remember that the market was consolidated around that year. 70-80% from the lowest on March 23rd. The surprising factor of this war is generally in the market. Everyone understands that this is the longest-running war and that the market is moving with surprise. Now, nearly three years of war has been ongoing, and we have seen this recent escalation, and as you have said correctly, we see a peace move taking place in Istanbul. So we have to wait and see. I don’t think this will have a disadvantage on the market. Markets are well aware that this is an ongoing situation and that it doesn’t move the market too much. So, my guess is that the market makes it their fuss.
