Metcalf Workout
The Steelers broke precedent with a DK Metcalf deal, giving him one of the biggest contracts in team history a few weeks ago. It’s good to see him chasing it already in the gym, but his work ethic in the weight room is not questionable about his physique.

Welschof engaged
Julius Welschof was on the Steelers roster last season as an international route program player for the Steelers. This means they didn’t rely on the 90-man offseason roster limit or the 16-man practice team limit. He thought this year he would be in the same role again while they continued to develop him.
He has some happy news this Sunday as he was recently engaged to his girlfriend. They posted photos on social media to mark this opportunity.
Welschof will be joining a long list of Steelers who have recently been engaged, married and have children. It is the season of excitement in life for a black and gold man.
Pittsburgh puppy
Apparently it’s National Puppy Day. Several Steelers players posted photos with furry friends Through the Steelers page of x. My favourite is the Calvin Austin III, listed at 5-9 pounds and 162 pounds, with three huge pit bull mixes. I think you know what Austin will do in his free time. I only have one myself, but they do a lot of work!
