Joy Wesley’s Troubles in Salem: The Rocky Start of Every Day in Our Life
Since she came to Salem, Joy has not wished good luck. Her mom, Nancy Wesley (Patrika Dalbo), dragged her there for an audition for the soap. And she won a job, which seemed to make the dream come true.
But it started really early in my tenure at Salem and became a nightmare as it went on. Before Joy auditioned for the soap, if you remember, she met a man who really honed at the little bar where she was a very upset Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
That was when he thought Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) had been fooled with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) for his false identity. Dr. Seth saw Alex on top of the lucky woman in the set of body and soul.
And Seth didn’t look closely. He assumed he was Chanel, Alex’s scene partner, not Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Johnny immediately thought of the worst about his wife in the days of our lives.
And Joy had heard Johnny Runt about his cheating wife that night.
Alex and Joy’s Connection: From Friendship to Dour’s Bedroom
Alex and Johnny returned to their room at Salem Inn and began to become frisky, but then stopped. They did not act. Meanwhile, Alex and Joy become friends after Soap slapped him and Stephanie’s ban on dating.
And they gradually continued to get closer as friends until the Great Year Day. That’s when Joy went to the Dimera Party as a daily date for Alex in our lives. That night was when it all exploded. Chanel infuriated Joy. Joy insisted that it was all a big mistake.
Of course, Alex was also upset because Stephanie took Philip into the party. And he was all creepy, kissing Stephanie while he looked at Alex with his eyes. It was just confusion. The joy was hurt because of how enraged the channel was at her.
And Alex sneaks up on Philip and is upset by Stephanie. So Alex and Joy got caught up in bed. And they kept getting rolled up into bed over and over until Stephanie decided she wanted to get Alex back and do some soap with him.
Joy’s downward spiral of daily life – addiction, recast, refusal
Joy then got hit with one three punch of the terrible thing going on. She is poisoned by the crazy nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles), and leaves alone and almost dies as Alex leaves her in bed to Stephanie.
After that, Joy finds out that the soap has ended. That meant moving to LA or losing a job. And she was going to move, but then they recast again. To make matters worse, she was lying down for Alex. Alex only saw her as casual, just to fill in, as he couldn’t have Stephanie.
Joy then saw Alex kissing Stephanie and seeing things feel like crap from her still poisoned and dying before he left with her. It was a lot of bad things happening with joy at once.
Then, behold, her period will be delayed. And now we know she’s pregnant, but she lies and tells Alex and Stephanie that she isn’t. I’m sure Joy knows that Alex doesn’t want her in the days of our lives.
He’s head over for Stephanie. And after the drama of getting caught up between Johnny and Chanel, that’s the last thing Joy wants.

The other day, if you remember, I saw the joy of Philip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) sitting in the town square. He then asked if there was anything he could do to help. Philip knows Joy isn’t happy with him because of the way he did his sister Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
But joy was willing to drop it, let it be Bygon. She then asked Philip for a job. And he made it happen. Will Joy ask Philip for another greater favor? So, it would be scandalous, but would the joy ask Philip to pretend to be her baby dad?
Now he was a few years older than Joy and was involved with his sister Chloe. So it would raise an eyebrow. But I also think that if Joy was asked, Philip’s knee response would be to say no.
But don’t forget, Philip has a big secret of himself. Sarah Horton (Lindsay Godfrey) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) both know Vivian Alaman’s forged letters.
Take advantage of Philip’s Secret: The Sun’s Soap Twist
Sometimes, Kate stops in the office to talk about it. And Sarah tells Philip about scams at home from time to time. So Joy may hear of Philip’s dirty secrets and use them to use him to help her keep her dirty secrets.
And he may help Alex cover up her pregnancy. I can’t imagine Philip agreeing that Philip is her fake impregnant without finding any way to force his hand. I think she can do that despite plaguing him for Chloe.
Philip’s scam is really his only dirty secret. So we must discover that joy massages his guilt for what he did to Chloe. But the joy of using Philip as a fake baby father is like a very typical soap, so it’s plausible.

Once Joy starts showing, Alex and Stephanie can do math. And they may realize that joy is carrying Alex’s baby. That is not the ideal result of joy. But if she can avoid the question by doing a fake romance with someone else, it’s good for pleasure.
She doesn’t want Alex and Stephanie to see their perfect romance after they reject her. If Joy had a child with Alex, they would be on her face for the rest of her life. And that’s why Joy lied about the results of her pregnancy test from the start.
She doesn’t want to get in the way of Alex and Stephanie’s happiness. And Joy wants her own happiness.
A nasty entanglement and the potential real romance of Dool
What makes this even more troublesome is that Philip was once engaged to Stephanie. And he recently had a hot for her again. But in a way, it may be that pleasure can be used as a reason for Philip to fake her and pretend to be the father of the baby.
Philip may want to show Stephanie that he is on top of her. And being abandoned by her did not bother him. Of course, if Chloe or Nancy comes back to Salem and Joy goes on a date with Philip and is a pregnant fake, they’ll explode on him.
