The sauce and smoke return to Chickfill A sandwich next week, with some new fruity drinks to help customers wash away.
Starting March 17th, Smokehouse BBQ bacon sandwiches will return to locations nationwide. This time, the diners will have the option to choose from original, spicy or grilled chicken fillets. Assorted Pineapple Dragonfruit Beverages will also be participating in a lineup of what is called “a completely sweet pairing,” but both are for a limited time only, Chick-Fil-A said in a press release.
Smokehouse BBQ bacon sandwich pairs chicken. “Crispy bacon, obtained from a blend of brown sugar and black pepper, Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce and smoky barbecue sauce served in toasted buttery sweet yeast bread.
The sandwiches will be available at participating restaurants until June 7th, but supplies will be available at the end, Chick Phil said. According to the company, it has not been offered since 2022 Food & Wine Magazine.

Pineapple Dragon Fruit drinks available are Frost Lemonade, Lemonade, Iced Tea and Sunjoy. This is a combination of Chickfill A lemonade and sweet iced tea.
“As warmer weather approaches, our guests are eager to have flavors that reminisce with longer, brighter days and times than they spend outside with family and friends,” Chick-fil-A menu director Alison Duncan said in a statement.

“We are excited to get back our smokehouse BBQ bacon sandwich. With the guest lineup of options expanded, the new Pineapple Dragon Fruit drink offers a delicious, sweet and refreshing balance to the smoky BBQ flavor,” she said.
Five new Chick-fil-A locations opened in California, New York, Georgia and Oklahoma on March 6th.
