Brock Purdy has extra spending cash to take over him until the pending contract extension.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback scored $857,842.50 on a performance-based salary, the NFL announced Wednesday. Purdy, the final draft of 2022, earned amounts in the league’s annual payments for players who saw important actions on the field and almost saw activity.
Each year, the league uses a formula that accounts for a total snap of players for a given season, base salary, and a bonus pool of $14.128 million available to each NFL team. The way players with a lower base salary receive additional rewards for high snap counts is essentially a way.
Purdy’s full season salary, coupled with a full season salary of $1.24 million and a total playtime of 81.3% against all potential snaps, earned a bonus that was nearly above the base salary of $985,000.
Of course, Purdy cashing days with the annual performance bonus are limited. The pro bowler is eligible for a major contract extension after his third season is completed.
So who else got the salary? Below are some of the more noteworthy names and categories for performance-based pay distribution this year.
A Million Dollar Club

Evan Hull, Colts, RB, $804.29: Hal earned this amount because he only played last season’s snaps.
Jordan McFadden, Los Angeles Chargers, G, $862.99: McFadden also played one snap last season. He was a special offensive lineman for a JK Dobbins rush attempt against Kansas City in the fourth week.
Jaret Patterson, Chargers, RB, $917.29:Patterson should thank Chargers’ special team coordinator Ryan Ficken for this bonus check. His only snap of 2024 was a kickoff return with Kansas City in week 14. Fun fact: KC Safety Justin Reid kicked off and tackled on play.
Jeff Driskel, Commander Washington, QB, $981.12: Backup quarterback Driskel took part in the second game against the Giants after Jayden Daniels left the field following the scramble. Daniels spent one play on a side job before re-entering the game. That’s all the Doriskels from last season.
