The New York Giants lost to the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving Day, dropping to 2-10 on the season and becoming the first team to be officially eliminated from playoff contention in the process.
Making matters worse, the Giants lost several players to injuries on Thursday, including superstar nose tackle Dexter Lawrence, who dislocated his elbow and missed the season. There is a possibility that he will be absent.
The loss wasn’t as ugly as this year’s, but it wasn’t a particularly noteworthy game. While Black Friday layoffs may have been prevented, Black Monday layoffs remain a real possibility.
