Brett Favre Taking an optimistic approach to the fight against Parkinson’s disease… TMZ Sports Although he “can’t complain” about his life situation, he admits that he sometimes struggles because “I wake up in the morning and feel like a board.”
The Hall of Famer opened up about his illness Thursday afternoon…and check out our interview, and it’s clear he’s remained extremely positive despite the devastating diagnosis. .
The 55-year-old said doctors caught everything very early. “In fact, my doctor told me that you might be the quickest patient I’ve ever seen,” he told us.
He added that all of his symptoms are now under control thanks to medication…and he remains encouraged that there may be some treatment on the horizon.
But the former Green Bay Packers superstar said there was one thing about the ordeal that bothered him: AM’s muscle stiffness.
“The main side effects of my Parkinson’s disease are stiffness and rigidity,” he said. “There’s some wobbling, but not too much. But it’s stiff and stiff.”
“I wake up in the morning and feel like a board,” he continued. “I don’t need any help getting any harder because of football. But all things considered, I’m a very blessed person.”

Favre has been having problems with his right arm and hand and was first told in January that he had Parkinson’s disease. In September he revealed the diagnosis It was presented to the public during a public hearing at the Capitol.
Since then, Favre said he has felt a lot of love from friends, family and other supporters, and has also tried various treatments to deal with the problem.
