Blade Ranger (TASE: BLRN), which develops drone-based cleaning technology and software and hardware-based solutions for solar energy field monitoring and analysis, has announced that Propeller Drones has entered into a framework agreement with Electra (TASE: ELTR). As part of a new, first-of-its-kind service agreement, Propeller Drones will use BladeRanger’s proprietary cleaning technology to clean Electra’s solar energy field.
Blade Ranger estimates that the revenue from the framework agreement will amount to approximately NIS 1 million, which could increase significantly depending on the number of solar energy fields added to the agreement. The current contract is for the provision of services to the solar energy sector, which produces 30 megawatts of Electra’s portfolio, which is estimated to be several hundred megawatts.
BladeRanger has an exclusive distribution and collaboration agreement with Israel’s Propeller Drones to market and deploy it as a unique scavenging payload designed for use in commercial drone support. This is part of BladeRanger’s right to receive 30% of the propeller drone’s revenue from the deployment of the cleaning system.
