If you’re heading to New York on the 4th of July, you’ll be able to enjoy a great view of the fireworks from your hotel if you manage to secure a room in time at one of these fantastic hotels.
For the first time in a decade, the annual Macy’s Independence Day fireworks display will be launched from a point on the Hudson River between West 14th and West 24th Streets and can be viewed from numerous viewing locations on Manhattan’s west side and in New Jersey.
There’s loads of fun happenings, including a family-friendly harbor cruise with a live DJ, a buffet dinner, and an open bar for the best fireworks photos. On land, the area around Chelsea Piers is a great place to be.
But if you want to avoid the crowds and miss out on the action, book into one of these hotels and sip on a cocktail while admiring the techno displays.
2024 Update: Some of the hotels below are nice, but they face the East River. Last year, that’s where the Macy’s fireworks were, but this year they’ll be on the Hudson River, so honestly, you’ll have the best view from a New Jersey hotel.
