The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concludes the 2024 F1 season this weekend with the Constructors’ Championship on the line.
McLaren leads Ferrari by 21 points and could pick up 44 points in Sunday’s race at the Yas Marina circuit.
It’s been 26 years since McLaren last won the constructors’ title, and with Ferrari not having won the title since 2008, both teams are desperate for long-awaited championship success.
Further down the table, Alpine are five points ahead of sixth-placed Haas, with millions of pounds in prize money at stake.
Lando Norris is battling for second place in the drivers’ championship, with Charles Leclerc just eight points behind Max Verstappen, and second place in the drivers’ championship on the line.
Mercedes will bid farewell to Lewis Hamilton after 12 seasons with the team before the seven-time world champion joins Ferrari.
Jack Doohan will make his F1 debut with Alpine after Esteban Ocon left the team after the Qatar Grand Prix.
The F2 championship is over and 2025 Sauber F1 driver Gabriel Bortleto is just 0.5 points ahead of Isak Hajjar.
The F1 Academy finale is held, with Britain’s Abi Pring aiming to end the season in style.
