We did ghost tours all over the United States, and these are our favorite tours we’ve ever had!
1. Williamsburg, Virginia
We actually did two ghost tours. Williamsburg And each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Williamsburg is a huge place for ghost tours, so you could potentially join a large group regardless of the options you choose.
The highlight of these tours is that they have a home in colonial Williamsburg. One of the most haunted homes in the United States.
It was recently ranked 6th most haunted house on the East Coast and Virginia’s most haunted house.
Haunted Williamsburg The official tour through Colonial Williamsburg where tour guides dress up actors of the era, these are the only tours that will take you Inside the building.
This tour is relatively family friendly, depending on how well your child is able to withstand the ghost stories.
Generally, ghost tours are not really recommended for young children.
However, it should be fine even before middle school.

Colonial ghosts Another tour in Colonial Williamsburg in Colonial Williamsburg is a tour covering a mix of colonial Williamsburg and buildings just outside the park.

2. Los Angeles, California
I lived in Southern California for 8 years and never went there. Chinatown in LA Until I did this ghost tour.
It’s a beautiful area, especially when lit up at night.

Our favorite part of our tour was walking the Oceanfront Boardwalk and stopping at various landmarks along the way.

4. Cincinnati, Ohio
Most people don’t find themselves Cincinnati Because they are on vacation.

So, if you are looking for nighttime activities in town and learn a little about the area, this tour is perfect.
Located in a popular location near downtown, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy before and after your tour.
I learned about the Cincinnati area I’ve never heard of before and grew up in Dayton, Ohio for about an hour.

5. Washington DC
Just as old city DC There is much history that took place here, and there are several ghost stories.
What I like about this ghost tour is that it starts near the White House and surrounds most of the historic sites in front of the White House.
Therefore, you can lead it to a tourist schedule and avoid going to places multiple times.
Many ghost stories relate to the president and his family, but definitely not all.
The architecture of the buildings in this area makes it seem like some creepy things happening in these places.

I would also like to add some honorable mentions that are some obvious ghost tour destinations you’ll be trying to visit.
These are Gettysburg, PA New Orleans, Louisiana.
When we were on some of these ghost tours, these destinations were mentioned by several guests as a favorite of the ghost tour.
We’ve been to both and haven’t done a ghost tour there yet, but it’s definitely on our list.
