The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine officially launched on Thursday. So, here’s the draft season!
This week, 329 NFL prospects invited to the combine took center stage in Indianapolis this week, aiming to raise draft stocks in Indianapolis. Players began dripping into Lucas Oil Stadium early in the week, but the drills (that is, most fans look forward to it every year) began on Thursday.
Let’s take a quick look at the schedule for each position that will take part in training such as a 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, and three-corn drill.
- Thursday, February 27th: Defensive Line and Linebacker
- Friday, February 28th: Defensive back and tight end
- Saturday, March 1st: Quarterback, running back, wide receiver
- Sunday, March 2nd: Attack Line
However, these exercises will not activate all future draft topics. Most notably, Colorado product Chedure Sanders follows the latest quarterback trends and waits for him to throw his pro day. His college teammate, Heisman Trophy winner and two-way star Travis Hunter, revealed he will not exercise at the combine early Thursday.
Perhaps the question about everyone’s mind is this: Will the record be broken this year? Last year, Kansas City Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy ran Combine’s fastest 40-yard dash in 4.21 seconds.
If that happens, we’re here. Follow us alongside us as we track all the top performers and best moments from now until March 2nd.
Ohio State offensive star performs
This season, several of Ohio’s major contributors to the National Championship team have won their turn to join the combined drill. Running backs Quinshon Judkins and Treveyon Henderson posted two of the four best relative athletic scores (RAS) at Combine. At 6 feet, 221 pounds, Judkins recorded the best broad jump (11 feet) among the running backs, running 4.48 at 40.
Measured at 5-10 pounds and 202 pounds, Henderson ran for 4.43 at 40 pounds. Meanwhile, he tied his seventh time at running back, but his top speed at 23.38 mph was the second fastest in that position. Henderson’s 9.45 RAS was the fourth best running back.
Outstanding safety
Nick Emmanwori may have created an all-new athletic archetype with performance and measurable things at the NFL Scout Combine on Friday. The strong safety of South Carolina was graded as “elite” in all categories, including hand size and arm length, compound size, compound explosion, compound speed, and more.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Emanwy ran a 4.38 40-yard dash.
The best fashion moments
South Carolina linebacker Demetrius Knight II didn’t just lock a custom-made adidas screete during a 40-yard dash. He rocked a custom-made Scrooge McDuck themed cleat.
And with 4.58 seconds he finished in the top three in his position in the drill. “Race cars, lasers, planes, he’s a duck blur!”

Running back reaches running
Virginia Tech’s Bhayshul Tuten had the best 40 hours among running backs at the combine, posting 4.32 at the event. The senior running back had an outstanding 2024 season at Blacksburg, running for 1,159 yards and 15 touchdowns for 6.3 yards per carry. He was ranked 174th NFL Mock Draft Database Consensus Big Boardmost mock drafts predict he is a choice from the middle to the bottom round. So his time on Saturday was able to boost his inventory if he wanted to be taken to the top half of the draft, recording the fourth Quick 40 hours for running backs since 2003.
There was a considerable amount of separation between Tuten and the remaining running back group. Texas’ Jadon Blue was second in the Quick 40 among running backs in 4.38 seconds, with SMU’s Brashard Smith just behind him at 4.39. There was a cluster of running backs that ran between 4.38 and 4.44, of which nine finished their best 40 somewhere between that range.
Intimidating back
Maxwell Hairston has posted the fastest 40-yard dash time for the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. A defensive setback from Kentucky posted 4.3 on his first attempt, then broke that threshold on his second attempt. His 40th inning will help boost draft stock as Hairston is away from his junior season, which was shortened due to a shoulder injury.
A big blowjob running
University of Tennessee’s edge rusher James Spears Jr. finished the defensive lineman’s fastest 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds on Thursday. With edge lashing, sub 4.50 is impressive. Washington commander Montez Sweatt ran 4.41 in 2019, Odafe Owe of the Baltimore Ravens ran 4.36 in 2021, and Amale Barno of the Carolina Panthers also ran in 2022.
As shown below, piercing times are faster than Super Bowl LIX Champion skill players Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown.
Derrick Harmon, a 313-pound defensive tackle from Oregon, was also impressed by the 4.95 seconds. Comparison of drawings To Chief Star Chris Jones.
The longest jump
Shemar Stewart put together the overall performance. The Texas A&M Edge Rush was surprised with a 40-inch vertical, 40 hours of 4.59 seconds and relative athletic score (10.00)Anyway, unofficial). The 6-foot-5, 267-pound Stewart has become the fourth player in 20 years to reach 40 inches in a vertical jump after measuring at over 260 pounds.
But his best drill was the wide jump. He led all participants in a 10-foot, 11-inch jump on Thursday, showing off his perfect shape.
