The quarterfinals of the new College basketball crown It started on Wednesday with two highly anticipated matchups at FS1.
First, Boise State defeated Butler with a high-scoring event. The Broncos, who won $50,000 in a 100-93 victory, are currently in the semi-finals.
Next up at 9:30pm, Georgetown will face Nebraska in a battle between two crude teams. Both teams won a comeback victory in the first round thanks to two massive efforts from top scorers. Hoyas scored a performance of Michael Jordan Flu’s game-type from Malik Mack. Bryce Williams carried the Huskers with 30 points, as he did frequently this season.
The second round will follow Thursday, with two more quarter-final matches airing on FS1. The winners advance to the semi-finals on Saturday and the Championship Game will be held on Sunday, April 6th. These three games will be available in Fox.

Boise State cleans up the nasty butler and moves to the semifinals
Boise State entered the crown as a favorite to win the tournament, and set a perfect record when he scored over 80 points.
Throughout the two games, Boise State was still a favorite to win everything, going 15-0 when he scored over 80 points.
The Broncos won the Bulldogs 100-93 as both teams shot the right out of the ball. Boise State connected at 60.3% of field goals and created 11 3-pointers, while Butler drained 13 trays at 57.6% from the field.
Boise state led the majority of the game, but Butler never faded away. The Bulldogs dragged 10 points in the half, but took that deficit early in the second half. But every time they approached, the Broncos responded.
For Boise State, Tyson Degenhardt scored his 2,000th career point on a 19-point outing.
Javan Buchanan, who came out of the bench, led the Broncos with 27 points, while Alvaro Cardenas also scored 19 points.

However, the game’s highest scorer was Butler’s Finley Bizjack, a career-high 30 points. He was barely stopped from the 3-point line and went 9-for-6 from behind the arc. He was 8-8 from the free throw line despite Utah Super Funcory’s best efforts that switched allegiance to Boise on Wednesday. This time, his screams didn’t bother Butler that much.
As Gus Johnson said on the broadcast, “No one beats Biz!”
Well, except for Boise State, which has now made it to the semi-finals.
