Zynga Poker has been around since 2007 and has finally launched multi-table tournaments. Obviously, this is such a big deal that Zynga teamed up with comedian Rob Riggle to launch them.
Zynga, which was acquired by Take-Two Interactive in 2022 for $12.7 billion, announced that Zynga Poker will launch multi-table tournaments for players around the world. This highly requested feature puts players in the center of the action, allowing them to compete in real-time across multiple tables in a high-stakes tournament setting.
Multi-table tournaments, where players start at multiple tables and compete until one player collects all the chips, are a popular format for live, TV, and online tournaments with large prize pools.
As Zynga Poker players rack up chips, they earn a chance to advance to the final table for a chance to win trillions in in-game chips, the largest tournament prize pool in the game’s 17-year history.
To celebrate the launch, Zynga Poker teamed up with actor, comedian, and poker enthusiast Rob Riggle to show how multi-table tournaments can raise the stakes. Riggle brings his signature humor to the new live-action trailer, which takes him to high-stakes poker tables around the world and competes against some of the fiercest competitors.
“Poker is about the thrill of competition and the excitement of going all-in,” Riggle said in a statement. “The feeling of sitting at a poker table never gets old. With Zynga Poker’s multi-table tournaments, players can challenge anyone from around the world, build their stacks, and beat their opponents’ dreams for ultimate bragging rights. “Zynga Poker has built an incredible community of players over the past 17 years, and we are excited to see how our team continues to transform gameplay and add exciting new features to this beloved title. It’s amazing to see how it continues,” said Yaron Leiband, Executive Vice President of Mobile Games. Zynga said in a statement: “Community feedback is at the heart of everything we do, and the introduction of multi-table tournaments is a direct response to the passionate requests of our players, and we are working with Rob Riggle to bring this new level of competition to the table. We’re excited to introduce the game to the world.
Every Saturday and Sunday, players can compete for trillions of in-game chips by participating in “Trillionaire Maker” tournaments. Zynga Poker Classic offers daily opportunities to hone your strategy and build your chip stack. Multiple tournaments are held every day.
Players can challenge opponents from around the world, each bringing their own unique style. With a variety of buy-ins, payouts, and start times, players can find the best tournament to fit their schedule and skill level.
