WNBPA and Def Jam Join Forces to Celebrate Women in Music and Sports

The Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) recently announced a partnership with Def Jam Recordings. The two companies will work together to promote and celebrate women in both the music and sports industries by releasing a “Bet on Women” playlist featuring the record label’s female artists.

“The intersection of music and sports has propelled our culture, athletes, and the sports they play. We rely on the influence of music to engage our fans, and through the ‘conversation’ of music and beats. We share life experiences,” said Terry Jackson, WNBPA Executive Director.

The playlist aims to inspire and motivate listeners for power walks, spin workouts, and even the work day, and features everyone from Ashanti and Rihanna to Jhene Aiko and Coco Jones. I am.
