And in between, there will be plenty of storylines to play out, including the 2022 WNBA MVP vs. the 2023 MVP, Las Vegas vs. the Big Apple, and the first-ever Finals showdown between two former WNBA scoring coaches.

Women’s basketball season is upon us amidst some exciting expansion announcements from the league. Game 1 will be in Las Vegas and is already sold out. We can’t wait to see it.

I won’t say I said that, but the Aces were on the cover of WSLAM 3 and the Liberty was on the cover of SLAM 246. Looking back, both teams were clearly ready to prove any theories wrong and play the game their own way.

Check out our coverage below to make sure you’re fully prepared for the WNBA Finals.

🗽 New York 🗽

New York head coach Sandy Brondello Her initial assessment stated Speaking about the “super team showdown” following the Game 4 win in Connecticut, he said: “We haven’t done it in a long time, but we’re playing last year’s champions. I think it’s going to be a really competitive series and hopefully more and more people will take notice of this game and we can continue to grow this game.”

Whatever happens, something historic will happen. “Someone is making history.” Hammon explained. “Either we win back-to-back championships or New York wins their first. As far as dynasties and stuff go, we’re No. 2. We have to get to No. 2 before we can get to No. 3 or No. 4. We’re really preparing for the task at hand and not worrying about the years ahead.”

We are excited about this final, how about you?
