‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ Singer Passes Away at 63

There are some sad news from the world of music.

Angie Stone, a member of the iconic musical trio The Sequence, has passed away. She was only 63 years old.

News of Stone’s death courtesy of her rep, Deborah R. Champagne, who also revealed the tragic circumstances in which the singer passed away.

The cause of Angie Stone’s death has been revealed

According to a representative for Stone, the music legend was killed in a car accident after performing in Montgomery, Alabama on Friday night.

Champagne says he spoke to Stone hours before his death.

TMZ We contacted Montgomery authorities seeking more details about the crash, but so far the outlet has not received a response.

During her career, Angie saw great success as both a solo artist and a member of the sequence.

The Pioneering Group released three successful albums between 1979 and 1985. Their split was just the beginning of Stone’s success in her career, as she released her most popular single.

Angie’s debut album Black Diamond Two years later, she won gold in the US and released her biggest song, “Wish II Mass You Miss.”

More than 20 years after its release, the song remains popular and aims to watch nearly 40 million on YouTube.

According to spin During Angie’s career, she worked with celebrities such as Prince, Macy Gray, Rennie Kravitz, Josh Groban, Ray Charles, Cool & Gang, Gang, and Dionne Warwick.

The news that Stone had passed away made her instantly a trending topic on social media.

On X (formerly Twitter), users pointed out that they ran the theme of a popular sitcom Girlfriendand her song “There’s no rain anymore.” It was featured prominently in the classic episode of Wire.

Angie has released 10 albums in her career. Her latest, Love LanguageIt came out in 2023.

Stone also worked as an actress, earning over 12 television and film credits, and painted rave reviews for her work as Big Mama Morton in a stage production in Chicago.

Angie was survived by her son Michael, daughter Diamond and two grandchildren.
